About us
We started in 2018 with a handful of volunteers in Bursa. Today we are an independent association delivering aid in seven regions.
Osmangazi Gençlik Hareketi Yardımlaşma ve Kardeşlik Derneği (Kardeşder) began in 2018 when volunteers came together in Bursa, and was officially registered as an association in 2020. Our head office is in Osmangazi, Bursa. We reach people in need in Syria, Africa, Arakan, Gaza, Afghanistan, Yemen and Türkiye.
Our mission
To bring aid to people shaken by war, oppression, hunger and disaster wherever they are in the world — to orphans, widows and refugees — and to raise a young generation, conscious of brotherhood, that will carry this work forward.
Our vision
To be a youth movement that stands with the oppressed in their hardest moments and is seen as an example of solidarity and brotherhood.
Our principles
Independence
We have no organic ties to any religious community, political party or political organisation.
Without discrimination
We deliver aid to those in need regardless of language, race, nationality or school of thought.
Trust
Every donation is a trust we will answer for in this world and the next; it is used for the purpose you choose.
Documentation
We record distributions with photos and videos and share them with our donors.
